Amoebas

OK computer just ate everything I typed. Short version: got amoebas, got really sick, hve good days and bad days wondering if I should stay. Someone please proofread previous entries and correct grammar and spelling. It is killing me. Am coming home for Christmas. Please send cumin, bay leaves, mint and cilantro seeds.
Sorry, computers here make and already grumpy person grumpier.
love,
heather

Glad to hear your having an experience. Holly says hi - Ian, Elizabeth asked where Togo was and we have been reading up on things. The 2 make that 3 vivid pictures in my mind are the miller, momma - and you wearing your head scarf tubin riding a bike...

Love bug,

Hope you are feeling better by now. I have been insane preparing for our benefit on Thursday, and apologize for not being in touch sooner. I promise to get a letter off to you soon. Please know that you too are often in my thoughts and I miss you terribly. I refuse to take your phone number off my cell, and smile every time I whip past your name. Take good care of yourself. I'm pleased to know that your fashion sense hasn't diminished any!

Love you, julie

My dear Heather, I miss you so much! I am sad that you have been so sick, I hope you get well soon. I am very happy that you will be home for Christmas...does that mean you will be at the MDP party this year?

Hampden is...well...lonely without you. It's lost some of its luster, though we are trying to make that up by forming a bowling league (you missed softball - tons of fun but I really messed up my ankle). So the bowling thing sounds lame, but it's all about the booze. Losers by the rounds. I'm not a bad bowler, so this is my time to shine and get some free drinks in the process. I wish you were here to help with shirt design. We need something fun, that speaks 'Hampden-chic'. I'll let you know what we come up with, snap some pictures of us in action.

Take care of yourself, and get well!
