Future Diplomat Life

I was already quietly concerned about this:

A sacrifice I guess. . .

A few months back I woke with a powerful and strange feeling.
Nothing felt wrong but something felt very different.
I had awoken to a strange new world.

I turned to this blog post to re-read.
As I read it I realized the blogger's fears, in her world, were unfounded.
Any reader, in retrospect, would appreciate the irony...
And in fact say to themselves, with a pleasant smile, "Silly girl"

It seems this blogger’s world, despite her fears, had given her the ultimate gift.
A gift that soon will teach her tolerance, patience and humility.
And one will ask... "What is the gift?"

To which the answer is: She will soon learn to love unconditionally, and in turn be loved fiercely.
In fact, she will soon be someone else's "Baxter"

In my strange new world, I ask myself "what would happen if worlds collide?"
Only to hear god whisper in my ear, "Now you’re the one being silly"

Imagining that the apricot does not fall far from the apricot tree, then the link might bring a smile to the person that makes you feel infinitesimal and infinite at the same time...
